StorageCraft Technology Corporation establishing international headquarters reaffirms Cork’s status as an IT hub
The decision of StorageCraft Technology Corporation to establish its international headquarters further cements Cork’s reputation as a recognised hub for leading IT companies. This is a vote of confidence in Cork, its people and the high quality graduates produced by third level colleges in the city.
StorageCraft is a global provider of data protection solutions that enables small and medium sized businesses to deal with system disruptions, improving security and stability. It is establishing its international headquarters in Cork as part of the continued growth and expansion of the business. This will create 30 new jobs across a range of disciplines, from IT to marketing and human resources.
In addition to those who will directly benefit from these new jobs, the local economy will also get a boost from this announcement. Each time a new company sets up in Cork, there are significant spin-off benefits for other local businesses.
In its first 10 years StorageCraft has grown into a leading player in the IT industry. I hope that this decision to create its international headquarters in Cork will enable StorageCraft to continue to develop its business for many years to come, and create further jobs locally.
