Question to the Minister for Education and Skills (Ms. Jan O’Sullivan, TD)

To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the progress that has been made in the efforts to secure a permanent site in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. – Jerry Buttimer

For WRITTEN ANSWER on Thursday, 15 January 2015.

REPLY

The Department has been working in conjunction with Cork County Council to secure a site to provide permanent accommodation for the school to which the Deputy refers. A preferred option has been identified and is being progressed. However, due to the sensitivities associated with land acquisitions generally it is not possible to provide further information at this time.
