Fine Gael TD for Cork South Central, Jerry Buttimer, has said that it’s great news that Netigate, a leading European provider of cloud-based services for online surveys, today announced the establishment of its international Headquarters in Cork. This will mean the creation of 45 new jobs in sales, technical support and account management.
“I’ve very pleased that Netigate has decided to set up its base here in Cork. This is yet another vote of confidence in the city and further proof of its ability to attack major international companies. The talent of our workforce here in Cork is a huge advantage when it comes to attracting jobs like this to the city.
“Netigate is a leading player in cloud computing and has 1500 customers in more than 30 countries. Its clients range from small organisations to global companies in all industries, including many leading companies around the world such as Electrolux, Ericsson, The AA Ireland, BMW Group and Spotify.
“Fine Gael has a long term economic plan to keep the recovery going. We will create more and better jobs, like those announced today. More people in work creates the resources to cut taxes for working people and invest in better services, improving living standards for all. This will ensure more people feel the benefits of a recovering economy in their own lives.
“We are seeing economic progress, with over 135,000 more people at work, but we cannot take for granted that stability and recovery will continue. The Irish people have worked too hard to get to where we are, we cannot go back. Instead, together we will keep the recovery going.
