I am concerned about the announced removal of the eFlow system at the M7/M8 toll operated by Celtic Roads Group from August 31st.
“An eFlow tag in your vehicle ensures rapid passage through express lanes, saving commuters from queuing and hunting for change at the cashier’s booth.
“The removal of the tag system means Cork commuters who use the tag in order to avoid delays will now have to pay cash at the toll plazas, the tags will not be recognised and the barrier will not raise.
“Unfortunately CRG and eFlow has been unable to reach an agreement that would see the continuation of the tag system. Many people who frequently commute from Cork to Dublin will be disappointed by this development and I hope that the two operators can reach a new agreement before the August 31st expiry date.”
