I encourage everyone to support the Cork Pride Parade this Bank Holiday Sunday.

“The parade will take place at 1.30pm on the Grand Parade with a street party taking place after. Fantastic work has been done by the festival committee this year to make it the biggest and best parade to date.

“Cork Pride is an opportunity for us as a city to celebrate our diversity, inclusivity and creativity with various fun-filled events taking place throughout the week in the run up to Sundays Parade.

“In May last year we became the first country to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote. This is an achievement I am very proud to have been part of. Cork Pride is the celebration of life, equality and ultimately the right to love whoever we want.”
