Cork Airport

Home / Local Issues / Cork Airport

I have strongly and vocally advocated for investment in Cork Airport. The airport and region have enormous potential as a destination for business and tourism which cannot be underestimated and overlooked.

There has been a series of very welcome announcements at Cork Airport. Airport management expect passenger numbers to return to growth with these new destinations and new airlines.  It is great to see that Cork Airport is finally getting back to passenger growth and this reality will be a huge boost to our city and region.

I continue to work with stakeholders and with the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Paschal Donohoe on my belief that expanding the choice of destinations from Cork Airport is vital to growing business and increasing passenger numbers.
