New Cork Hospital

Home / Local Issues / New Cork Hospital

Cork needs a new acute hospital to take the pressure off CUH, Mercy University Hospital and South Infrimary/Victoria University Hospital.  I have lead the call for this hospital, locally and nationally.

Our City hospitals have over 90,000 emergency visits every year.  There are more than 250,000 outpatient appointments each year. CUH is the largest acute hospital in the country and we need a new hospital to ensure that we can continue to provide safe, quality and essential medical services as our population grows in the decades ahead.
